Welcome to Moorestown, NJ - Located in Burlington County
was incorporated as a township in 1922 from portions of Chester
Township (now Maple Shade). Moorestown is about 14.9 square miles and
borders Maple Shade, Cinnaminson, Delran & Mount Laurel. Moorestown
is also conveniently located about 10 miles from Philadelphia. The
town was ranked number one by Money Magazine as the best place to live
in America in 2005.
Students in grades Kindergarten through 12 attend the Moorestown Township Public Schools.
Schools in the district are three K-3 elementary schools — George C. Baker, Mary E. Roberts and South Valley — Moorestown Upper Elementary School for grades 4-6, William Allen Middle School for grades 7-8 and Moorestown High School for grades 9-12.
Moorestown Friends School
is a private Quaker school located at East Main Street and Chester
Avenue. The school serves approximately 700 students from Pre-School
through 12th grade.
